Rika Okamoto Dancer

The Magical charm of the city of New York attracts youth from all over the world. Some come to this town with passion and purpose. Some are drawn here with only vague longings. However, it seems that motivations have little to do with success. Rika Okamoto, who says, "I just wanted to come to New York. Dancing was next," in an easygoing manner, is one such example. She now dances in "Movin' Out," a Broadway show, choreographed by Twyla Tharp, that is highly competitive even for American performers. She is one of the talents I can't take my eyes off.
