Momo Suzuki, Japanese Folk Dancer

New York is not only a melting pot of nations and races, but also one of cultures. Especially in Manhattan, cultures from all over the world are condensed in its small land. Here, you may encounter a part of your own culture you might have overlooked in your home country, and discover the unexpected cultural affluence of your people or another side of your history that you had never realized. For me, meeting Momo Suzuki was such a case. New York Dance Fax introduces, this month, Ms. Suzuki who has been bringing Japanese culture to the United States on a grass root basis for a long time.
