Susan Marshall
Choreographer
About
ten years ago, I saw choreographer Susan Marshallユs
work for the first time. Called Kiss, the piece
featured a couple of dancers suspended with
ropes from the stage ceiling; facing each other,
they danced and/or flew in the air drawing circles.
The audience kept seeing the dancers floating
vacantly. When the piece was over, the theater
was filled with the enchanting, intoxicating
feelings you may get from kissing. Since then,
Susan Marshall has been an artist that I never
miss seeing.
