Jonathan
Stuart Cerullo,
Broadway and Circus Choreographer
"There's
a turning point in every child's life,"
says Jonathan Stuart Cerullo. The choreographer
and director was six years old the first time
he saw a marionette show. His interest was immediately
piqued, but not by the characters on stagehe
wanted to know who was controlling them behind
the scenes. When he stuck his head around the
side, he was intrigued to see people pulling
the strings. Today the former Broadway performer
is pulling the strings himself, most recently
as the choreographer of the Big Apple Circus's
lively new production, Carnevale!
